The Youth Enrichment Program (YEP) offers various after-school programs including:

Bridge To College Chabot Courses (FALL 2021)

HHS Students can now choose from one of THREE "dual enrollment" Chabot/HUSD courses next Fall 2021!  All are online.

(There will be no Bridge to College Chabot courses this Summer 2021.)

Course #1:
BUS 12: Introduction to Business
Description: Learn about basic business concepts which include economics, types of business ownership, ethics, and organizational functions such as management, marketing, accounting, human resources, and finance. (3 Chabot credits)  This course is CSU and UC transferable.

Course #2:
HLTH 40: Introduction to Health Professions
Description: In this early childhood development course, you will learn about the nutrition, health, and safety aspects which are needed to promote and maintain the health and well-being of all children and people who work with young children. (3 Chabot credits)  This course is CSU transferable.

Course #3:
ECD 54: Child Health, Safety and Nutrition
Description: Interested in the Healthcare field? This course will introduce you to the diverse occupations in the care systems and community wellness field, as well as the skills, and personal characteristics needed in these professions. (3 Chabot credits)  This course is CSU transferable.


All courses are two days a week.
Time: 3:45-(ending time tbd)
Classes begin mid-September 2021, 2021 and end December 2021.

3 Chabot units (10 HUSD units)
Deadline to pre-register: Friday, April 21 at 5:00 PM.

Fall 2021 Bridge to College courses will be conducted in a distance learning online format.

Earn college credits! 
Course and books are free of cost! 

To participate, students must:

  • Be enrolled in 9th through 12th grade at the time of enrollment

  • Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher

  • Complete the YEP and Chabot College online application process:
