The goal of the Hayward High Physical Education Department is to develop healthy bodies, educate, and promote positive attitudes towards lifetime fitness and in life.  We  have developed a quality physical education program so that each student will be empowered with the skills and knowledge required to make responsible life choices that directly impact his/her health and well-being.

PE Uniform Expectation

All students are expected to wear the P.E. uniform every day.  The Hayward High P.E. uniform includes:

 

Black P.E. Shorts (w/ student’s name written legibly)

Yellow P.E. Shirt  (w/ student’s name written legibly)

Athletic Shoes with laces


 Students will not be allowed to wear school clothes (i.e. jeans) under sweats,  this will result in a Non-Suit and a loss of points.   Also, There is no partial-suit,  either students are fully dressed out or they are not (shoes included).

 

Student can purchase PE clothes, sweats, and lock at the ASB window before school, nutrition, lunch and after-school the first two weeks of school. When purchased at the ASB window students will receive all items. Students will not be allowed to purchase any items during class.

Composition Book                     $1.00       (all PE students must have a comp book for class)

Sun Block

 

PE Uniform Loans:

Loans of PE clothes are available to each student a maximum of 3 times per quarter.  Student must provide collateral to trade for the Loans.  Loans are subject to availability and teacher discretion.
