Intervention & Alternative Education Counselors work with students individually and conduct small group (8) sessions addressing such topics as effective communication skills, anger/stress management, conflict resolution and strengthening decision making skills. The setting provides students an opportunity to talk about personal concerns, and express their feelings which allows the counselors to connect students with outside resources that can best serve their individual needs.
