The price is $63 plus shipping, and it will be shipped to your home. There are no extra yearbooks at the school to purchase, so you must order yours from the TreeRing website if you want one.  Also if you want to purchase the 2017-2018 yearbook for the lowest possible price, order it from the TreeRing website during July or August.

The Youth Coach works with the Head Coach to help youth develop their baseball skills and implement/or coordinate the Jr. Giants’ enrichment programs that go beyond baseball.  Youth coaches focus on instilling the Four Bases of Character Development as well as emphasizing programs in Education, Health and Bullying Prevention.

Tuesday, April 4th we will be hosting our 1st ECMC College Night from 5:30-8:00 in the Cafeteria. This event is open to all students and parents. We will have UC's, CSU's, Privates, and Community Colleges in attendance.  Scholarships will be given but you must be present at the event in order to receive the scholarship. This event is a great informational night for parents about the college process. Dinner will be provided at 5:30 so please arrive on time.

HUSD is honored as one of only 3 districts in Alameda County to make this year's AP Honor Roll.  To be included on the 7th Annual Honor Roll, HUSD had to increase the number of students participating in AP while also increasing or maintaining the percentage of students earning AP Exam scores of 3 or higher. HUSD met these criteria by increasing by 9.2% the number of students who took the exam and improving by an incredible 13% the number of students attaining a 3 or higher on the exam.

On Wednesday, October 19 all JUNIORS will take the PSAT all morning and are automatically signed up.  The fees are being covered by the district.  Also, the district is paying for 200 SOPHOMORES to take the exam.  Sophomores, however, must sign up via the link on the haywardhigh.net homepage (see "College Day" banner).  Unlike previous years, PSAT students will be assigned to different classrooms (not the Gym or Cafeteria) where they will take the PSAT.

Please see your counselor during any of the breaks (not during class time) before this Wednesday's deadline.  Acceptable changes include math level changes, hole in your schedule, missing a core class, etc. Please remember that teacher preference changes and "level changes" such as moving from P to AP or AP to P are not allowed.

If you still need to pick up your registration packet, please visit the Main Office with a current utility bill to pick it up Monday-Wednesday of this week.  If you have a completed registration packet and emergency card, please bring it to the first day of school on Thursday to turn it it, take your school ID picture, and pick up your schedule.

Please see below for registration packet pick up dates and times:

 

Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors, your packet pick up dates are August 15 & 16, 8:00-10:00 am and 5:00-7:00 pm.

 

Freshmen, your parent orientation and packet pick up date is August 17 at 9:00 am OR 5:00 pm

 

***And, don't forget, in order to pick up your packet, you MUST bring in proof of your current residential address, such as a utility bill. (PG&E, cable, garbage, water, etc.)

 

All completed packets must be returned Friday, August 19, and will be done in order, by ALPHA. Times are mandatory!

8:00-9:30 am: A-E

9:30-11:00 am: F-L

1:00-2:30 pm: M-R

2:30-4:00 pm: S-Z

Offices will be closed 11:30 am-1:00 pm.
