Selecting classes for next year
8th through 11th graders select their classes in February and March for the following school year. Students gather teacher signatures for classes that require teacher recommendation (i.e. Math, AP, Modern Languages). Students also choose their electives as well as alternates should their first choice electives not be available. Parent/Guardians participate in the selection of classes and sign at the bottom of the programming sheet before the student returns it to their designated teacher. Counselors then visit classrooms to collect and review each student's programming sheet with the student in order to ensure proper class selection. After students have confirmed their class selections with their counselor, schedule change requests may not be made with the exception of "level changes" which must be requested no later than June 1.
